Anxious to get things going this season, head coach, Bill Collman and his Pella Christian girls’ soccer team will get their first taste of action this evening when they host visiting Marshalltown on the soccer pitch. Despite numbers a little lacking this season, Collman said he is a little worried about some girls getting too much playing time, but says that his athletes have plenty of spunk to help them play through the weariness. Collman added that he’s very excited about this season but hasn’t been able to figure out why. He says that it will be a fun and exciting year for Eagles’ soccer if they can get back to playing offensive soccer in 2013. All of tonight’s action at Pella Christian High gets going at 7:00 p.m.
