Unless your name is Marty McFly or “Doc,” not a lot of us look that far into the future, especially from an athletics standpoint. That is unless you are a junior on the PCM boys’ golf team. In an interview to be heard later today during the Hy-Vee Radio Coaches Corner, head coach, Mike Smith says that his juniors are already preparing for the departure of star golfer Hunter Van Veen by bearing down and upping their game. Smith adds that the competition makes the guys work a little bit harder to keep their spot on the team. PCM is currently off until Monday, when they head to West Marshall and Lincoln Valley Golf Course for a meet.
