KNIA/KRLS joined the Knoxville School Board in a tour of the Knoxville Auditorium construction site following the board’s meeting on Monday evening. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says that it’s the first time that most of the board members have seen the site. Visible progress can be noted along the exterior through the brick installation on the south side of the structure. Inside, workers are painting the stage area, making progress with plumbing and electric, and have installed the catwalk guardrails. Speaker installation and painting of the dressing rooms will start soon.
