No goals through 80 minutes of regulation…and still no goals through two-ten minute overtimes sent the Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad into another shootout with Norwalk last night, and the Warriors came away with the win 4-2 in the penalty kick segment. Coach Dylan Mick said this was likely their best all-around effort of the season…and while he was proud of his team’s play especially Derek Glover’s effort on defense, it was still disappointing to lose another shootout. The Panthers are 5-4 on the season and fall to 2-2 in conference play. The girl’s match last night lacked any of the drama that the boys match held at Norwalk defeated the Panthers 11-1 ending the match four minutes early due to the ten goal mercy rule. Tyra Washington scored Knoxville’s only goal in the second half.
