The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad dropped two games Saturday at the Boone Invitational. The Panthers fell to the host Toreadors 3-0, then lost to Webster City 1-0 in the third place game. The Lynx got the only goal of the match with 50 seconds remaining. McKayla Harrell had 11 total saves in goal for the day, she has 19 saves in three matches for the season. The girls are in action Tuesday at Oskaloosa. Tonight, fans can see the boys squad in their home opener at a new venue for just one season. The Panther boys and girls will play their home games in Ken Locke Stadium. The move is due to the unplayable conditions at Randy Wilson Track…which has served Knoxville’s home field since soccer became a sport at Knoxville.
