Adam Ariola allowed the Central baseball team to walk off in game one of their twinbilling with Buena Vista, but couldn’t get the bats to come alive in the second game, as they split their games on Saturday. Game one went to ten innings, until Ariola came up with two on and belted a walk-off single to center for a 2 – 1 win. Dirk Lindaman pitched all ten innings for Central and earned the win to improve to 4 – 3 on the year. The Beavers woke up in the nightcap and spouted off ten runs to salvage a split, 10 – 1. The Dutch are now 17 – 14 overall with a record of 10 – 12 in the conference. Central plays their last pair of regular season home games on Tuesday against Simpson.
