There’s an old Pink Floyd song that’s titled, “Comfortably Numb,” and according to Pella High head girls’ track and field coach, Dak Rasmussen, that is the epitome of his team. Rasmussen told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team has begun to not even notice the cold weather anymore, and it showed last night at the Bondurant-Farrar invite, with his girls finishing first by 74 points over second place South Tama. Pella’s girls received first place in eight different events, and second in eight events as well. A full list of results for the Lady Dutch can be found below. Winterset is the next destination for the Pella girls, as they’ll be headed there this Friday.
