It was a record setting day for Knoxville’s Wick Cunningham at the Drake Relays Saturday. Cunningham not only finished fifth in the 1600, but also broke one of the longest standings Knoxville school records as he set a new mark of 4:19.49. That mark was previously held by current Knoxville Athletic Director Randy Wilson, who was on hand at Drake Stadium Saturday to witness his record being broken. Coach Mike Cunningham the Second said Wick ran one of the best races he has ever run. The Panthers now turn their attention to the Little Hawkeye Conference meet tomorrow at Oskaloosa.
