Knoxville Hospital and Clinics is hosting a town hall meeting this week as they get set to conduct a comprehensive community health needs assessment. The organization will be partnering with Marion County Public Health and an independent health research and consulting firm from Kansas, using the information collected to guide how they address current and future health care needs. Nearly 300 families recently completed a survey regarding their thoughts on the health needs of the community.
The town hall meeting, which takes place Thursday from 5:30-7pm at Knoxville High School, will review those findings and help prioritize health needs. Knoxville Hospital and Clinics CEO Kevin Kincaid says he hopes the residents of Marion County will take advantage of the opportunity to provide input into the future of healthcare.
