Melcher-Dallas High will be hosting a big meet on Tuesday, one that involves most of the Bluegrass Conference schools. In a way, it will be a preview of the conference meet coming up at the end of the month on April 30. Saints’ head boys’ track coach, Ryan Conrad says that the meet they’ll be hosting this Tuesday will be a great warm-up for what is to come in just a few weeks. Conrad tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that their meet is exciting for their communities, because they have several great volunteers that help out to make things go very smoothly. The Saints’ coach also boasts that it’s one of the better run meets in the area and his guys are excited to run in front of the home crowd. The Co-Ed meet will involve the Saints, Lamoni, Moravia, Mormon Trail, Muray, Seymour and Twin Cedars. Everything is scheduled to get underway at 4:30 p.m.
