Depth is not an issue for Pella High’s boys’ track team this year, and it showed last night, as they won the meet despite not finishing first in a single event. Coach Brent Van Hauen told KNIA/KRLS Sports that there was a lot of good competition to go around in Norwalk, but despite some frustrations, his guys stuck with it and earned a team win. The 4 x 800 meter relay team finished second, Matt Klein in 3200 also was runner-up, as was Ryan Sievers in the 1600 meters, Evan Jones in the 800 meters, and so was the Little Dutch 4 x 400 meter relay team. The boys are next in action this Thursday at Waukee.
