It was close, but the PCM girls’ golf team prevailed over three other schools at the Pleasantville Country Club on Tuesday. The Mustangs shot a team score of 194, Pleasantville was second with 201, Melcher-Dallas shot a 282, and Martensdale-St. Mary’s registered to team score. The Trojans’ Hannah Gordon received medalist honors with a meet-low round of 45, while PCM’s Maddie Peters was a close second with a runner-up round of 47. The PCM ladies will next golf this Monday in Altoona, Melcher-Dallas golf on Friday in Moravia, and Pleasantville golfs at Carlisle on Thursday.
