The Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association just released their first rankings for this 2013 golf season, and both Pella and PCM are well-represented individually and team-wise. In Class 3A, Pella is ranked second in the state to Williamsburg, with sophomore Corey Elliott and junior Sean Rennich each ranking fourth and fifth, respectively. The Lady Dutch are ranked 13th overall in Class 4A, despite none of their golfers ranked in the Top 40. In the girls’ Class 3A, the PCM ladies are number four, with Maddie Peters ranked 20th overall, and teammates Rachel Phifer and Cassidy Van Veen 23rd and 24th. Not a lot of surprises in Class 2A for the boys, with PCM ranked first overall with the number one golfer in the state, Hunter Van Veen.
