Different day, same results; the PCM boys’ golf team came away with a clean sweep at their home invitational on Monday in an 18-hole contest. Both Hunter Van Veen and Justin Beener tied with a round of 72, which was even par on the day, but it was Van Veen that won the playoff against his teammate to take medalist honors. The Mustangs had a team score of 307, which ended up being 19 strokes better than second place Grinnell. PCM also edged the likes of Chariton, Boone, Bondurant-Farrar, and Colfax-Mingo, to name a few of the other schools that participated. A full list of results can be found below. The PCM boys will next golf at Moravia on Thursday afternoon.
