The Pella City Council met in regular session last night. Among the items discussed were an amendment to the zoning ordinance to allow Vermeer to build a daycare facility adjacent to their property, which was approved by the board. Also being approved was an amendment to the city’s budget for the 2012-13 fiscal year, and an ordinance to amend the time for snow and ice removal on public sidewalks from 12 to 24 hours.
