Rain, rain go away, come again some other day, is how the famous song goes. Seeing as how during track season, you practically only get one opportunity to host a meet, everyone involved hopes that conditions will be favorable. With the forecast showing rain all day, it will be a “game time decision” whether or not today’s meet happens, which will see both Pella Christian track teams, Pella’s girls track team, the PCM boys and Twin Cedars’ girls among other schools competing. Pella Christian head coach, Kevin Herdegen said after the Panther Relays that today, he’s most looking forward to having a full roster of kids back in action. Sabers’ head coach, Jesse DeGeest says that incremental improvements is what he wants to see from his girls as they’ll once again be facing bigger schools. Barring a cancellation, the Pella Christian Invite will be underway today at 4:45 p.m.
