Our local track and field athletes had results all over the board on Friday at Drake Stadium. Chris Brogden finished 27th in the 100 meter dash and didn’t qualify for the finals. The Lady Dutch sprint medley relay team was 19th overall, Wade Pingel came in 10th in the 800 meters, and with a time of 51.76 seconds, the Pella girls’ 4 x 100 meter relay team came in first in their heat, but was only good for 42nd place overall. Madison Fopma for Pella Christian matched her season-best high jump with a leap of 5’2”, which tied her for eighth place, and the PCM girls’ 4 x 100 meter relay team finished sixth in their heat and was 65th overall.
