The way the Pella High soccer teams played in their openers on Tuesday, you could say that Fairfield is their next “victim.” The Lady Dutch dominated on offense in a 7 – 0 defeat of Indianola the other day, and head coach, Mark Howard is looking to see more of the same aggressiveness to the ball in tonight’s game. The Pella boys were able to squeak a 1 – 0 win out against Oskaloosa, and Mark Solomon, their head coach, told KNIA/KRLS Sports that his guys had some turnovers that cost them some opportunities, but did have a lot of scoring chances that just didn’t find the back of the net. The boys will play at the Pella High Stadium against Fairfield tonight, while the girls are at Fairfield, and both games will start at 5:30 p.m.
