The wind, Davis County, Van Buren, and Eddyville-Blakesburg were no match for Pleasantville girls’ golf on Friday, as the Trojans easily won their meet in Bloomfield. Payten Hughes of Van Buren was meet medalist with a 49, and not too far behind her was freshman Hannah Gordon who shot a 50. The Trojans as a team shot 220, a whole 27 shots better than second place Davis County. The Pleasantville girls’ have their Pride of Iowa Conference meet this Monday, which this year, is in Mount Ayr.
