6 1/2 inches of rain and cold temperatures predicted to get into the mid-30s were took much for the Knoxville Raceway to overcome this weekend for opening night, so Raceway official made the call at around noon yesterday to scrap the opening night races for tonight. Knoxville Raceway Race Director John McCoy said there were took many question marks including a new tire rule, six rookies in the 410 class that have had little or no laps, and the predicted weather forecast. The Pella Motors Race for Your School night will be next Saturday, hot laps are scheduled to begin at 6:45…and racing at around 7:30.
