The Knoxville Raceway will try for a third time to hold a practice night before the first points races of the season. This Friday, drivers can take hot laps starting a seven to shake down and prepare for the season opener which is now this Saturday with the Pella Motors Race for Your School Night. Last week’s activities were called off due to heavy rain during the week and predicted cold temperatures. The forecast is a little better this weekend with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s with more sunshine. Practice night is free and open to the public this Friday.
