Pleasantville Native Chelsea Thomas has been named a top 25 finalist 2013 U-S-A Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. This is the third year that Thomas has been named a top 25 finalist for the award given at the end of the season by U-S-A Softball and the Amateur Softball Association of America. Thomas is having another All-American type season with the University of Missouri most recently passing the 1,000 career strikeout barrier for her career and earning her 100th career win for the Tigers. Missouri will host Southeastern Conference rival Arkansas this weekend in a three game series starting Friday.
