This weekend’s warm weather is a welcome change after what’s been a cool, wet start to the spring. Since March began, the Knoxville/Pella area has seen 11.09 inches of precipitation – more than twice the average amount of 5.45 inches. Meanwhile, the average high temperature this spring has been 45.9 degrees. That’s more than eight degrees cooler than the normal average of 54.2 degrees at this point in the season.
