While the Knoxville girls did not have enough players to get a team score, Evy Wells earned all-conference with her 105, good enough for 12th place which was the final all-conference spot. Sierra Findley was the other Panther that played Bod Landen and she shot a 128. Coach Jason Carter said Wells played very well, and a key was her short game as she had two putts or less on every hole except one. Carter added that Wells’ ball control has improved, also as she does not drive the ball far, but is able to keep it out of trouble. Carter said Findley struggled but got valuable experience at a very tough course. The boys meanwhile, were at Norwalk’s home course at Willow Creek and struggled to a sixth place finish. The Panthers totaled 350 and was led by Kaden Loscher who cared an 88. Coach Brian Barkey said his team’s youth showed on some of the holes, but an experience they can build upon.
