After yesterday’s action was rained out, the Twin Cedars’ baseball and softball teams will try once again to lace up the cleats for a pair of games tonight. The 4 – 0 Sabers’ boys will head to Des Moines to play St. Edmond of Fort Dodge at Principal Park. The Gaels themselves are also undefeated with a 3 – 0 record with wins over North Union, Prairie Valley and Manson. The Twin Cedars’ softball team is 3 – 1 as they head to Eddyville-Blakesburg. Coach Zach Dunkin told KNIA/KRLS Sports that his team will be lucky if they get any games in this week with the projected forecasts for the next few days. The Rockets are still 2 – 2 and were supposed to play Pella last night but the game got rained out. The baseball game is scheduled for noon today while the softball gals begin play tonight at 6:00 p.m.
