18-year-old Nicholas Wade Carter pled not guilty to second degree arson charges in Marion County District Court on Friday. Carter is accused of causing a fire at 110 East Robinson Street in Knoxville in March. That fire destroyed the upstairs of that property and caused extensive damage to neighboring properties. Carter is scheduled to appear next in court on June 14th for a pre-trial conference. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
