Warmer weather brought some hot scores for the Pella Christiana and PCM boys’ golf teams yesterday. The Eagles finished second out of seven teams in New Sharon at the Prairie Knolls Country Club. PCM won the meet with a 150, beating out the Eagles by just five strokes. Hunter Van Veen was the meet medalist, shooting a one-under par score of 34. Mason Howerzyl was just a stroke behind him with a 35 to earn runner-up medalist honors. Next up for both teams is the sectionals at Bos Landen on Friday.
