Pella Christian baseball and softball takes to the field today for varsity action. The Eagles’ girls stay at home and will be facing Albia. Following a tie with Pleasantville to begin the season, the Pella Christian girls have won three straight, including a sweep over Des Moines Christian to wrap up the first week of competition. Albia comes in with a 1 – 1 record having beaten Knoxville but dropping to the Rockets of Eddyville-Blakesburg. While the girls do battle in Pella, the Eagles’ boys travel to Nite Hawk Field to take on Ballard. Each team is undefeated to begin the season, and they have also had the offense going for them so far, with the Eagles scoring 20 runs through two games and the Bombers tallying 27 through three. Each game tonight will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
