Funeral services for Fred Van Ryswyk, age 69 of Pleasantville, will be held on Monday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church in Melcher-Dallas. Burial will follow in the Pleasantville Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the Mason Funeral Home, in Pleasantville, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or to the Iowa Hunters Education Instructor Association.
