The Knoxville City Council will vote on final plans for the City’s paving and sidewalk contracts during their regular meeting Monday evening. They’ll also vote on first consideration of an Inflow and Infiltration Ordinance and they’ll consider suspending the utility franchise fee at the VA Campus. The VA recently filed a lawsuit against the City of Des Moines regarding their franchise fees, stating they violated a provision against cities taxing federal agencies. The meeting begins at 6:15 at the Council Chambers. It can be heard live on 1320 KNIA.
