The Knoxville Girls Tennis Squad ran into a very good Davenport Assumption in the class 1A Team Regional finals yesterday in Iowa City. The Panthers fell 5/0 as the meet was stopped after Assumption had gained the necessary five wins to clinch the match. All of the girls lost in straight sets. The season is not completely over for Knoxville as doubles partners Kassi Griggs and Taylor Carter will play in the class 1A Individual State Tournament. Match ups are not yet decided, those will be made available after the seeding meeting today.
