This Saturday, the Knoxville Raceway could be jam packed with the biggest names in sprint car racing. Along with the World of Outlaws regulars like Donny Schatz, Steve Kinser, and Craig Dollansky just to name a few. National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Executive Director Bob Baker tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that NASCAR Nationwide Driver and Rookie of the Nationals last year Kyle Larson has indicated he will race this Saturday. Larson will have a busy week crisscrossing the nation as he will run in the Nationwide race in Darlington, South Carolina on Friday night and jet off to Knoxville for Saturday night’s races. Baker also said that Sam Hefertepe Jr. will also be racing Saturday. Hefertepe and another unnamed driver have also rented out the track on Thursday night to run practice laps. KNIA/KRLS will let you know if any other drivers planning to show up Saturday night when it becomes official.
