Pella Girls’ Tennis Edges Marshalltown

Winning the meet by the slimmest of margins, the Pella girls’ tennis team beat Marshalltown on Tuesday, 6 – 5. Pella won five of the six singles’ matches to all but secure the win for the day, but the Lady Dutch seemed to run out of gas when it came time for the doubles’ matches. The team of Molly Kalkwarf and Alli Dingeman saved the day for Pella with the team’s only doubles win in straight sets, 6 – 1, 6 – 2. A full list of results can be found below. Pella’s girls’ tennis team is next in action in the regional tournament this Saturday against Cedar Raipds Xavier.
