Heavy snows have led to a number of power outages in the county. MidAmerican reports that over 1,500 people without power in Marion County. Pella Cooperative Electric reports that approximately 300 accounts without power in Warren, Marion, and Jasper Counties. Most of the outages are near Pleasantville and Killduff. Pella Cooperative electric says call 800-619-1040 to report an outage, and that consumers throughout the area my experience lights flickering as the snow melts. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has reported a number of road closings due to lines down in the county.
