Holly Shinn was recognized with a DAISY award this week at Knoxville Hospital and Clinics. This is the second year for Knoxville’s DAISY Award, which is given to a nurse as recognition for their dedication to the nursing profession, patients, and their family members. One co-worker says Shinn handles patients with a caring attitude and has an empathetic ear. Another says Shinn has set the quality of nursing to a new standard of excellence.
