One day after the Heart of Iowa Conference meet went South Hamilton’s way, the Hawks prevailed once again in a meet over PCM at Jester Park. South Hamilton shot a 154 in the nine-hole event, five strokes better than the Mustangs’ 159. Devon Woody and Ryan Jennings shot a 38 for the low scores for PCM; Justin Beener shot 41, and Hunter Van Veen and Reid Jenkins carded a pair of 42’s. Coach Mike Smith was overall happy with the scores his guys put up, as his team had never golfed at Jester Park before. Smith added that it was a great preview for the district meet. PCM’s boys are next at the Jewell Golf and Country Club for a meet on Thursday.
