A 21-year-old Knoxville man was in serious condition after a motorcycle accident east of Knoxville this morning. Authorities tell KNIA/KRLS that Bret Overton had life-threatening injuries as he was being airlifted via Mercy One. They say it appears the male lost control of his motorcycle and hit a telephone pole on Lisbon Drive, between Highway T-15 shortly after 7am.
