The weather that has moved into the area has forced several of the Iowa Conference tournaments involving Central to either reschedule or completely change formats. The double-elimination Iowa Conference softball tournament is now a single elimination format. Central will not play until Sunday, and they will play the winner of the Luther-Buena Vista game. Coe plays either Simpson or Dubuque. The winners of those games play at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday for the league title. The men’s tennis tournament will still be today and Saturday, but is now being held indoors. Central is slated to play their first match against Dubuque at 7:00 p.m. Finally, the men’s golf tournament that was supposed to take place in Cedar Rapids today and tomorrow has been pushed back to Saturday and Sunday. Round three takes place at Elmcrest Country Club starting at noon and the final round will now be held in Iowa City at Finkbine Golf Course.
