In what was described by Coach Joel Johnson as a “big win” the Knoxville Baseball Squad defeated Norwalk last night 7-4. The Panthers not only got a solid outing from Ross Shelford on the mound, but also Shelford helped his own cause by going 3/4 at the plate with an R-B-I. Kevin Woodhouse, who pitched the final three outs in relief went 2/3 with two R-B-I, and Jared McClung also batted in two runs. Knoxville improves to 8-6 on the season and 6-3 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Knoxville takes on Newton in a varsity double header tonight.
