The Knoxville baseball Squad split a double header with Centerville last night. The Panthers fell in game one 9-5, while blistering the Big Reds 13-3 in the nightcap. The Panthers were plagued with errors in the first game. However, Kevin Woodhouse went 3/4. In the night cap, the Panthers trailed Centerville 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth innings and erupted for 11 runs to end the game early. The Panthers would get R-B-Is in that inning from Tony Solato, Kevin Woodhouse, who went a combined 6/8 on the night, also, Jared McClung, Bryce Zoutte, and Ross Shelford. Panther’s Coach Joel Johnson says his relievers are now starting to show they can come in and handle all situations. Knoxville is now 4-5 on the season and will host Pella Christian is a makeup from last Friday in a J-V/Varsity game tonight.
