Both teams being involved in a pair of close games on Wednesday, Knoxville and Pella Christian will face-off on the baseball diamond this evening. Knoxville is coming off a dramatic come-from-behind walk-off win over Pella, 10 – 9. The Panthers scored three runs in that seventh inning, and Coach Joel Johnson said he was proud of the resiliency of his team. Nate Johnson and his Pella Christian Eagles also had a seventh-inning comeback, but theirs came up just a tad short, as they fell to a hot and ranked Norwalk team, 6 – 5. Tonight’s game is a varsity doubleheader, and you can hear game two live on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser and Marcus Johnson calling the action. Pregame coverage is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. with first pitch at 7:00.
