After getting shut down on Monday night in Norwalk, the Knoxville Softball Squad responded with an 8-5 win over Centerville last night. The Panthers’ bats got going early as Marissa Lenger, Jory Wallace and Emily Wallace all got R-B-I. Taylor Carter continued her hot hitting going 2/3 with a double. In the circle, Emily Wallace went the distance giving up five runs on ten hits, three walks, and two strikeouts. Knoxville is now 3-6 on the season. Tonight, the Panthers host rival Pella. Coach Steph Christner says she wants her girls to continue to hit the hard, eventually the hits will start to pile up.
