The PCM softball team split a pair of tough games on Saturday in the Pella Christian tourney. The day began with a 10 – 8 win over Humboldt. Abbi Gilson was 3-for-4 offensively with a home run and two doubles, and Payge Edwards and Kayla Jennings each collected three hits. PCM lost the second game to Ballard, 8 – 2. Jennings had seven strikeouts on the mound, and Edwards and Kaitlyn Wilkie were each 2-for-3 at the plate. The Mustangs will host Roland-Story tomorrow night.
