Mustangs Pick Up Pair of Wins

PCM baseball and softball did it again last night against two different opponents. The softball club defeated Roland-Story by a final score of 3 – 1. Abbi Gilson drove in a run, and Payge Edwards went 2-for-4 with two RBI’s for the Mustangs at the plate. Kayla Jennings got the win on the mound and struck out five batters. PCM baseball beat Carlisle 5 – 3. Ethan Kain and Austin Brown each picked up two hits, while sophomore Keith Timmons kept the Wildcats in check, giving up three runs on six hits, but picking up the win. The softball team is now 16 – 12 on the season while baseball improves to 14 – 10. They will each make the trip to Colfax-Mingo for conference games later tonight.
