PCM baseball and softball each came away winners over C-M-B on Friday. Mustangs’ baseball picked up eight hits and scored seven runs, four of which came in the seventh in a one-run game, and they rolled late, 7 – 2. PCM played an errorless game to back a sharp Austin Brown who got the win on the mound, going six innings and striking out seven. PCM softball won in a blowout, 11 – 0. Payge Edwards struck out seven and got the shutout win on the mound. She also was 2-for-4 at the plate, Abbi Gilson hit a home run as well to lead the Mustangs to a 17 – 12 record, and PCM baseball is now 15 – 10. The boys have an early morning game with Pleasantville, and the girls will participate in a tournament at Mid-Prairie Wellman.
