Five innings was all it took for the Twin Cedars’ baseball team to beat a very good Eddyville-Blakesburg team on Wednesday night, 11 – 1. Coy Moore spun a gem on the mound, going all five innings, giving up just one hit, five walks and striking out nine. Otis Roby reached base four times including a pair of hits, and the team batted around in both the second and fifth innings. Twin Cedars keeps rolling, and they now sport a 17 – 1 record. The Sabers will host Lamoni for a game later this evening.
