Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, but Twin Cedars beat Moravia last night, this time on the softball diamond, 8 – 3. Brittney Roby had another big day, going 2-for-4 at the plate with a triple, two stolen bases and an RBI, while picking up the win on the mound and allowing no hits through four innings of work and striking out seven. Ayla Crosby was also 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Payton Fee drove in two runs for the Sabers, who stopped their mini-two game losing streak to improve to 4 – 2 on the year. They’ll be heading to Oskaloosa later today for a tournament and will be playing the Indians and Newton.
