Melcher-Dallas’ ladies had two lopsided wins over Pleasantville and Lamoni in tournament action Saturday. They started out by beating Lamoni, 12 – 0 in four innings, then capped the day off with a dramatic win over Pleasantville, 8 – 1. The game between the Trojans was 1 – 0 in favor of Pleasantville until the seventh inning, when the Saints went off and put the big eight-spot on the scoreboard. Lexi Crozier, Madyson Riebhoff, Anastasia Dennison and Hannah Wilson were named to the all-tournament team. Crozier picked up both wins on the mound, and Dennison had a three-run homer to highlight the day for the Saints, who are now 14 – 10 on the year.
