A special PCM school election was held Tuesday in Prairie City and Monroe. The ballot had three items up for consideration. Voters decided to not adopt a revenue purpose statement for monies collected through the Penny Sales and Services Tax for Schools. Also, district 5 filled their school board vacancy with Jill Witt who defeated Twyla Flickinger, and the district 7 seat was won by Steve Nearmyer who defeated Zachary Pendroy.
