Supervisors to Discuss Hydroelectric Project, IT Future

The Marion County Board of Supervisors will discuss transportation plans regarding the construction of the Red Rock Hydroelectric Plant during a special session this morning. The $224 million project is expected to start this year. The Supervisors will also talk about the county’s future information technology plans. The county recently underwent a full IT assessment and will consider a future IT department and director. The meeting begins at 8am Monday at the Courthouse.
